In Ropes We Trust (IRWT) was born from a need we observed within the world of rope work: the lack of a space that brought together information, experiences and the people who are part of this industry.

The project's origins can be traced back to our director's experience, who for several years served as coordinator of a training center. In that role, she mentored those beginning their journey in rope access, constantly hearing the same questions, concerns, and challenges faced by these new professionals.

At the same time, the fieldwork allowed us to build relationships with specialists, companies and organizations in the field, generating a permanent exchange of experiences, knowledge and different perspectives on the industry, which strengthened the conviction that a space or meeting point is needed where all that information could be gathered, shared and put at the service of the community.

Thus was born In Ropes We Trust: "We trust in ropes." A name that reflects the essence of our profession and the confidence we place in that textile support that accompanies and sustains us in every job, maneuver, rescue, training exercise, and challenge at height. In turn, what began as a specialized blog grew organically thanks to community interest, participation in national and international events, and collaboration with individuals and organizations committed to the development of the industry.

Today we are a community that brings together rope access technicians, rescuers, arborists, climbers, cavers, and all those who share a passion for working with ropes. We believe in the exchange of knowledge, collaboration among professionals, and building networks that strengthen our profession.

Our purpose is to continue creating spaces for meeting, learning, and sharing that contribute to the growth of the community of working at heights, difficult-access work, and rope rescue in Chile and Latin America . We are convinced that when we share experiences, learn from each other, and work together, we not only grow as a community but also contribute to the development and strengthening of our industry and its professionals.
